This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) we use on Picker Wheel and how you can control them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. "Local storage" is a similar technology we use to save your wheels and settings on your device. Together we refer to them as "cookies" below.

Exactly what we store on your device
Almost everything Picker Wheel keeps is browser local storage, not cookies. The difference matters: local storage is never transmitted with your requests, so unlike a cookie it is not sent to us or to anyone else. It simply sits on your device until you clear it. These are the entries we create:

None of these contain your name, email address or any account identifier, because the Site has no accounts. You can inspect or delete all of them yourself through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.
Advertising cookies
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners may set cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. We only load personalized advertising after you accept cookies. You can learn more and opt out at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info/choices.
Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before any personalised advertising is loaded. Your choice is recorded in the industry-standard IAB Transparency and Consent Framework signal, which the ad networks read directly.
If you decline, you will still see adverts — they are simply non-personalised, chosen from general context rather than your browsing history. Nothing about the tool changes either way: no wheel, setting or feature is withheld based on your cookie choice.
Managing cookies
- Use the Cookie Settings link in the site footer to reopen the consent dialog and change your answer at any time.
- Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings — in Chrome, Edge and Firefox look under Privacy, and in Safari under Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Clearing site data also deletes the local storage listed above, which means your saved wheels and your streak will be gone. Download anything you want to keep first.
- Ad blockers are fine by us. We do not detect them and we will not restrict the wheels if you use one.
Do Not Track and global privacy signals
Browsers send these signals inconsistently and there is no agreed standard for honouring them, so we do not rely on them for consent. The Cookie Settings link is the reliable way to change your choice on this Site.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove a category of cookie, this page is updated and the "last updated" date above changes with it. Where the change affects advertising consent, you will be asked again rather than having a previous answer carried over.
